Box Office

  • The Greenhouse is a rental theater space, so while the price of your ticket goes to the actors, directors, and producers of the play that you are seeing, the fees go to keeping the lights on and paying your friendly Greenhouse Theater Center staff to be here.

  • With shows running all the time, the box office can get a little backed up. We apologize for any inconvenience!

  • You are not required to make an account for single or group sale tickets. For those the Greenhouse only requires an email address. After that, you have the option to create an account in order to view your previous purchases and update your settings.

    However, for FLEX PASS tickets, you will need to make an account through the Greenhouse ticketing software in order to hold your passes until you choose with dates you would like to utilize the passes for.

Venue

  • We are a resident company at Lincoln Park’s historic Greenhouse Theater Center! The theater center is located at 2257 N Lincoln Avenue, just south of Fullerton, between Webster and Belden Avenues.

    YPT’s four-show Fifth Anniversary season is presented on the Greenhouse’s 195-seat Downstairs MainStage.

  • We do validate for the garage at 2316 N Lincoln Ave. Ask the box office for the sticker validation, which brings the price to $7 for 4 hours or $11 for 12 hours.

  • The Greenhouse offers a full bar, where you are able to purchase wine, spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks to be taken into any of their five theaters! We are not a BYOB venue. No outside drinks or snacks are allowed past the entrance.

  • Yes! All of the Greenhouse Theater Center spaces are accessible and the second floor can be reached via stairs or elevator.

    Need accessible seats? Please call to reserve floor level seating or write the Greenhouse box office a note in your online purchase. They will reserve easily accessible seats for you and your party.

School Field Trips

  • Our venue is the Greenhouse Theater Center: 2257 N Lincoln Ave (just north of Webster Ave).

  • The vendor is the Greenhouse Theatre Center — CPS Vendor #: 42588.

  • Thanks to generous donors, student matinee tickets are available at a significantly lower price than our public performances. Student tickets are $12 per student (book before Sept. 15 and save $1/ticket).

    To save paper, no physical tickets will be issued.

  • There is one complimentary teacher/chaperone ticket for every 10 students.  Additional chaperones above this are invoiced at $20 per chaperone.

  • The Greenhouse Theatre Center is on Lincoln Ave, between Webster and Belden Ave. The theatre complex is on the East side of Lincoln Ave and the best way to approach by bus is from the South (approaching from Webster Ave). 

    Busses pull up and a YPT staff member will be outside the theatre to guide and assist your group.

    The ideal arrival time is approximately 15-20 minutes before curtain. That gives enough time to get students seated, but not excess time before the performance.

    YPT will exchange contact information for day-of communication.

  • The concession stand is closed during all weekday student matinees. Please plan accordingly.

  • Changing: You may reduce your group's student and/or chaperone count up until thirty (30) days in advance of your field trip date. After that, we cannot reduce numbers. You can request to increase the number of students at any time and we will do everything we can to accommodate the increase.

    YPT is not responsible for refunding unclaimed tickets.

    Cancelling: Once confirmed, you may cancel your reservation up until 30 days prior to your scheduled date without incurring a fee; canceling after that date will result in a 50% cancellation charge. 

    Force Majeure: In the event of a cancellation due to weather, etc., YPT will work with your school to reschedule. If no other performance can be found, YPT will refund 100% of any payment.
